List

  • amphibious sd2: This unit is amphibious and is therefore able to « swim » across rivers. AMPHIBIOUS
  • ap cluster bomber sd2: This unit is armed with armor piercing cluster bombs. Small ordnances dropped "en masse" and designed to take out vehicles groups and tanks. CLUSTER (AP)
  • artillery observer sd2: This unit is as a Forward Artillery Observer, commanding off-map fire missions.It can call-in powerful strikes in its vicinity, delayed by the mission's parameters. ARTILLERY OBSERVER
  • at rocket sd2: This plane is armed with anti-tank rockets to engage armoured vehicles. Efficient against vehicles, they are less usefull against infantry. ANTITANK ROCKET
  • close air support sd2: This plane is armed with a lot of heavy machine-guns.It is a dedicated dive-attack plane against infantry & unarmored targets.Some of the guns on flexible turrets on the belly & back can be used to engaged enemy planes. CLOSE AIR-SUPPORT
  • cluster (ap) sd2: This plane is armed with anti-tank cluster bombs, small ordnances dropped en masse and designed to destroy tank groups. Although deadly against vehicles, they are mostly ineffective against infantry. Choose your targets well. CLUSTER (AP)
  • cluster (he) sd2: This plane is armed with high explosive cluster bombs, small ordnance dropped "en masse" and designed to take out larger infantry or light vehicles groups. Although deadly against unarmored targets, they are mostly ineffective against armored ones. Choose your targets well. CLUSTER (HE)
  • commander sd2: This unit is a commander. As a senior officer, he improves the resilience and fighting abilities of nearby units, but also helps coordinating units over the radio net.Units close to a commander have their experience increased by two level, won't surrender, perform normally even when behind enemy lines, and receive only half the suppression. Leaders in radio range are also boosted by one experience level. COMMANDER
  • discipline sd2: Friendly units within range of this squad won't surrender (moreover, all penalties in the case of Disheartened troops are removed). DISCIPLINE
  • disheartened sd2: This unit is made up either of raw conscripts, war-weary or unwilling soldiers. It will fight as any other, but will take +25% suppression damage as regular troops. DISHEARTENED
  • dogfighter sd2: This plane is armed with machine-guns and/or 20mm cannons.It is dedicated to engage and shoot down enemy planes.Guns can be used against ground targets in a strafing run, but will only be effective against the lightest enemy units. DOGFIGHTER
  • fanatical sd2: This type of unit has achieved a reputation for ferocity and fanaticism on the battlefield and will never surrender. FANATICAL
  • flamer sd2: This unit carries a flamethrower, a weapon able to wipe out an entire squad in a moment, and terrorise the survivors.Its range is very limited.A flamethrower can engage an armoured unit, but with much lesser effect. FLAMER
  • heavy bomber sd2: This plane carries over 500kg of bombs. HEAVY BOMBER
  • indirect fire sd2: This unit is able to fire HE & smoke shells at any point within its range, even without line of sight and over obstacles. INDIRECT FIRE
  • leader sd2: This unit is a platoon leader squad. An officer improves the resilience and fighting abilities of nearby units.Units close to a leader have their experience increased by one level, won't surrender, perform normally even when behind enemy lines, and receive only half the suppression. LEADER
  • light bomber sd2: This plane carries up to 250kg of bombs. LIGHT BOMBER
  • light rocket sd2: This plane is armed with small calibre rockets to engage ground targets.Efficient against infantry & soft-skin vehicles, they can still deal some damage to light armoured ones. LIGHT ROCKET
  • medium bomber sd2: This plane carries between 250 & 500kg of bombs. MEDIUM BOMBER
  • medium rocket sd2: This plane is armed with medium calibre rockets to engage ground targets.Very efficient against infantry & soft-skin vehicles, they can still deal some damage to light armoured ones. MEDIUM ROCKET
  • radio sd2: This unit has a radio, making it possible for it to use corrected shot. RADIO
  • raiders sd2: This type of unit (paratroopers, commandos, mountaineers, ...) is used to operate isolated from the army's main body. This unit doesn't suffer suppression malus when behind enemy lines. RAIDERS
  • recon sd2: This unit is specialised in reconnaissance: it can spot an enemy unit from further away than regular troops, and identify it quicker.Recon troops don't affect the frontline, nor are they affected by morale penalties in enemy territory. RECON
  • remote-controlled explosive sd2: This unit doesn't have a pilot, being remotely-controlled by an operator instead. Having no crew, it can't be pinned by enemy fire and will detonated itself either on order, when reaching a destination or a target, suiciding in a major explosion. REMOTE-CONTROL EXPLOSIVE
  • smokelayer sd2: This unit is equipped with smoke bombs, harmless to the enemy but generating a large smoke screen. SMOKELAYER
  • spotter sd2: This unit is as an Artillery Spotter, correcting fire missions.It can improve targeting time & dispersion of friendly artillery units firing within its radio range. SPOTTER
  • supply sd2: This vehicle carries ammunition to resupply and repair units within 150m range when at full stop. Supply vehicles can also be used as transport vehicles. SUPPLY
  • tank buster sd2: This unit is armed with anti-tank weapons that are incredibly effective against all manner of armored targets. TANK BUSTER
