Sperrverband Kessel is an Axis B-rated Motorized division in Steel Division II, available in Blood Feud in Transylvania. The motley assortment of German and Hungarian forces grouped as Sperrverband Kessel was used by its charismatic commander Mortimer von Kessel to support the Axis campaign into Romania.

Roughly following the organizational lines of a panzergrenadier division, the ad hoc task force contains more infantry and fewer tanks. Sperrverband Kessel features an array of soldiers with varying quality levels, such as Erzatstruppen, experienced Hungarian mountain troops, and elite Brandenburg commandos. Armor is mainly limited to StuG III and IV self-propelled guns. Support elements are where this battlegroup shines, though, including fanatical Csendor Hungarian gendarmerie with supporting CV.33 tankettes, flamethrowing SdKfz. 251/16 half-tracks and StuH 42s. A mix of Hungarian and German planes patrol the skies above, from Ju-87 to Fw-190 fighters.
