Overview[]
During the Fall of France, British forces found that the large sedans that they were using were not used for military service. So British Army had a requirement for all officer to be able to ride a motorcycle. These requirements were followed by the Canadian Army,
1/4-ton trucks better known as jeeps enter service in the Canadian Army during the late 1930s.
