Volontaires is a French Infantry unit.
Strategy[]
Weapons are identical with the FFI Maquisards. Volontaires has the same damage output at 100m as the Stoßtrupp/SS-Stoßtrupp or the CMDO Assault. But it is composed out of 12 men and has a couple of 300m weapons additionaly.
It is lacking smoke grenades, explosives or a tank buster weapon.
Overview[]
Volontaires represent local French volunteers accepted as auxiliaries and replacements into 2e Blindée. As the only allied nation in France with no shortage of replacements, LeClerc's units leveraged their ability to levy troops and expanded their size by several new companies of Volontaires: French partisans, veterans, and simple civilians who joined their units and assisted them on the war path, slowly being integrated into the division as proper line troops.
Each Armored Infantry Battalion gain one more company made up of Volontaires while the 1er Régiment de Marche de Spahis Marocains's 6th and 7th came from Free French of the Interior sources.
