SS-Stoßtrupp is a German Infantry unit.

Using a combination of German and Soviet submachine guns, these Waffen-SS shock troops are hardened veterans of the Eastern Front (Ostkampfer), specializing in close quarters combat. This unit and its non-SS counterpart are identical, barring the lack of a panzerfaust on its non-SS counterpart.
Strategy[ | ]
Stoßtrupp and SS-Stoßtrupp are unique in that they fight exclusively at 100m range. Their high HE makes them very powerful in close quarters and they are excellent at ambushing enemy units. Their smoke grenade allows them to attack over short open spaces or retreat when under fire. They are very cost effective units, though the small unit size makes them rather fragile.
Its allied counterpart is the british CMDO Assault.
