SPW 223 is a German Support unit.

The SPW 223 was a command and communications vehicle, with the turret replaced by the older, 221 one, in order to accomodate the large aerial antenna and additional sets of long and medium range radios. Some 550 conversions were produced between 1935 and 1944 in two series, and served on every front with recon units of Nazi Germany until the end of the war.
