A conversion of a Lorraine artillery tractor undertaken by Major Alfred Becker of Baukommando Becker between 1942 and 1944. Combining a 105mm field howitzer with the reliable design of the tractor created an effective self-propelled artillery piece. Unlike their counterpart in other Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment, Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 155 has two Abteilung are mechanized with PzH. Lorraine.
Two batteries in each the II./ Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 155 (4 and 5) and III./ Panzer-Artillerie-Regiment 155 (7 and 8) had six PzH. Lorraine(F) 105mm.
