M3 How 105mm is a United States Artillery unit.

M3 Howitzer was a light howitzer designed for airborne troops. Based on shorten M2A1 How 105mm's barrel mounted on slightly modified carriage of AB M1 How 75mm (US). These were used in one Glider Field Artillery Battalion and the conventional infantry regiment's cannon company.
907th Glider Field Artillery Battalion was reequipped with M3 Howitzers in March 1944. But the Normandy Landing, 907th Glider Field Artillery Battalion was equipped with AB M1 How 75mm (US).
