Lw-Führer is a German Infantry unit.

Unlike Division Meindl, the later Luftwaffen-Felddivision were originally lead by Luftwaffe officer not trained in infantry tactics. These were pilots who lost their planes and staff officers not Fs-Führer of Division Meindl. When 16. Luftwaffe was taken over by the Army, the some Luftwaffe officers were replaced by Wehrmacht officers.
In 3. Fallschirmjäger, Lw-Führer represent officers of Luftwaffe Field units that were attached to the Division.
In Festung Groß-Paris, Lw-Führer represent trapped Luftwaffe officers who were armed to defend Paris.
In 16. Luftwaffe, Lw-Führer represent officers of the Infantry Regiments. When 16. Luftwaffe were taken over by the Army, Army Officers filled out half of the officer slots.
