CMDO Royal Marines is a British Infantry unit.

This unit represents the Royal Marines infantry battalions reorganized into the British Commandos in this case 45 (RM) Commandos. Royal Marines were represented in every SSB (Special Service Brigade) formed throughout the war, with a total of nine Royal Marine Commandos (Battalions) organized during the war, numbered 40 through 48. Royal Marines were involved in nearly all of the major amphibious assaults during the war, distinguishing themselves from Sicily to Normandy and Antwerp.
