AB Jeep Supply is a British Support unit.
Overview[]
The main logistic truck of the 6th Airborne was the Jeep since the normal transportation trucks cannot be airdropped or put on a glider.
Bulk of the motorized transport of the Parachute battalion and the Airlanding Battalions came by sea since only few Airborne units have motorized transport airdropped in.
There are three RASC Companies in the 6th Airborne which had access to Jeeps which landed by sea.
