Background

WC52 was a 3/4 ton four wheel drive truck produced by Dodge/Fargo, fitted with a Braden MU2 3.4 ton winch on the front bumper. Introduced in late 1941, they were intended for use as Weapons Carriers, though the WC abbrevation referred to the internal Dodge model code, not their use by the United States Army.

Soviet Union got WC52 by the Persian Corridor in a knocked down state and was reassembled in the southern truck assembly plants of Korremshahr and Andimeshk.
