Panzer-Regiment of the 19. Panzer division, stationed at Warsaw to be outfitted with new Panther Ausf. G tanks. AK managed to capture three of these on August 2, from a column that moved through the city without infantry cover. One of the tanks burned out, but the remaining two were captured in almsot perfect condition and put into service as the Independent Armored Platoon of the Zośka Battalion. The recovered tanks - named Pudel and Felek - supported several attacks by AK fighters, including the liberation of Gęsiowka concentration camp and the raid on the Police Academy. However, while they were a tremendous asset for the guerrilla fighters, without spare parts and proper workshops, they were worn out by August 11. The tanks were abandoned and set alight to prevent recovery by the Nazis. ==Strategy== {{strategy}}
