126-y L. Gornostrelkovy Korpus unlike their Rifle Counterparts which commanded Divisions, the Light rifle Corps were made up of two brigades. 126-y L. Gornostrelkovy Korpus was amade up of two brigades 31st Ski Brigade and the 72nd Naval Rifle Brigade.
72nd Naval Rifle Brigade was created from cadre from the Pacific fleet during October–November 1941. Like their Ski counterparts, 72nd Naval Rifle Brigade had three battalions. The planed Soviet rifle platoon has two light rifle section along with two heavy rifle sections. Heavy Rifle Section has two DP-27 instead of the one in the light rifle section.
