Romania ordered 545 Austrian-made Böhler pieces and 275 Italian-made Breda in 1941. In 1942 the Infantry Regiment has one of it anti-tank platoon having 6 Breda/Schneider/Böhler anti-tank guns. In October 1943, each infantry battalion was equipped with 3 47mm anti-tank gun in the heavy weapon company.
