Free French was rearmed with American divisional organization so Cavalry, tank destroyers and infantry formations was equipped with M20. By the end of 1945 Free French got 205 M20 by lend-lease.
Régiment Blindé de Fusiliers-Marins the Anti-Tank Regiment of the 2e Blindee used M20 in the command elements of the regiment.
