NOV is an Allied C-rated Infantry division in Steel Division II, available in the Raid on Drvar Nemesis pack. The Yugoslavian partisan army led by Josip Broz “Tito” was also known as the Narodnooslobodilačka Vojska, shortened to NOV. By the time of Operation Rösselsprung, the local guerilla forces were close to a mountain infantry division in size, equipped mostly with captured German and Italian weaponry and some airdropped British arms.

Heavier armaments include Elefantino 47mm, Pak 50mm, and 75mm AT guns. Italian 75mm and 100mm mountain guns, and a substantial amount of mortars, round out NOV’s artillery. Even some light armor is available, with a small number of Italian L6/40 and French R-35 and Somua tanks, as well as diminutive CV-33 tankettes. The multinational RAF Balkan Air Force provides heavy air cover, bringing to bear the deadly Hurricane Mk.IV tank killer with its twin 40mm guns.

The NOV is a flexible partisan battlegroup that depends on air support for additional firepower.
