Kampfgruppe von Tettau is an Axis C-grade Infantry division in Steel Division II, available in the Men of Steel DLC.
Kampfgruppe von Tettau was the improvised battlegroup heavily committed during Market Garden. Named after its commander, during the initial allied landings and subsequent Battle of Arnhem, the local Axis forces and rushed reinforcements managed to defeat the British paratroopers after bloody city combat.
The division contains many kinds of infantry, from disillusioned SS-Wache to retreating Kriegsmarine troops, second-rate Ersatz soldiers, highly motivated SS-Junker NCO cadets, and Dutch collaborationist SS-Landstorm. Timed-locked, heavier units deploy later, including tank-accompanying Begleittruppen, Beute B2(f), and even the ever-impressive Königstiger. The Luftwaffe has access to its latest fighters and fighter bombers flying from home bases, such as the Bf-109G-14 and the He 219 A-0 “Uhu” night fighter.
Kampfgruppe von Tettau depends on ad-hoc infantry in the early stages of a battle, as it builds up its most powerful units to deliver a knock-out blow.
