Groupement Dody

Groupement Dody is an Allies C-grade Infantry division in Steel Division II, available in the Men of Steel DLC.

The French-led Groupement Dody was an umbrella formation containing a wide assortment of partisan, airborne, and elite mountain troops doing battle in the French Alps after Operation Dragoon. Fearsome Moroccan Goumiers can be deployed, bolstered by reformed Chasseurs Alpins, American paratroopers and FFI forces, including some Italian POWs now fighting for the Allies. While tanks in time-locked Groupement Dody are few and far between, artillery is not, with mortars, light howitzers, and German captured le.FH 18M 105mm guns providing fire support. Flying top cover, Free French and American airforces field a powerful array of fighters and fighter bombers, such as the P-39 Airacobra, P-47 Thunderbolt, as well as the P-61 Black Widows in anti-tank and bomber roles. Groupement Dody is a layered division with strong infantry, decent artillery, and powerful air support, best used on more compact battlefields.
