Fallschirm-Panzer "Hermann Göring" is a German Armored division in Steel Division II: Death on the Vistula. Political jealousy in the highest echelon of the Third Reich led to the creation of the Fallschirm-Panzerdivision “Hermann Göring”. Part of the Luftwaffe, this formation saw action on various fronts, before ordered east to prevent the loss of Warsaw.
The division took command of many smaller units on location and fought both Soviet troops near the capital, as well as Polish fighters inside the city. The “Hermann Göring” fields older Panzer III and Panzer IV models, but can count on powerful units such as elite ‘Totenkopf’ Tigers, a large contingent of Jagdpanzer IV’s, and lots of Flak guns. It also excels in urban combat, thanks to off-map 600mm mortars and the first two Sturmtiger prototypes ever deployed.
The Fallschirm-Panzerdivision “Hermann Göring” is a solid battlegroup choice, making up for the lack of armor with versatile and strong support units.
