'''{{PAGENAME}}''' is a Polish division in ''Steel Division II''.  Known as the “Home Army”, the Armia Krajowa was the underground military of the Polish government-in-exile in occupied Poland. They began the Warsaw Uprising, the hard-fought but ultimately unsuccessful attempt at liberating the Polish capital when a shattered Wehrmacht was in full retreat and the arrival of the Red Army seemed imminent.

The Armia Krajowa is a motley resistance formation, equipped with a wide variety of light infantry weapons, either home-made, captured, or scrounged from Allied airdrops. The resourceful Polish fighters have managed to seize a small number of German tanks, including [[Panzer IV H (Pol)|Panzer IV]]<nowiki/>s, [[Chwat|Hetzer]]<nowiki/>s, [[Pantera G|Panther]]<nowiki/>s, and [[Tygrys|Tiger]]<nowiki/>s - and even constructed their own scratch-built armored personnel carrier called the [[Kubuś]].

The Armia Krajowa is an infantry-centric force, excelling in close combat and reliable in defense, but lacking on the offense due to its small tank force.
