Arado Flugzeugwerke was an aircraft manufacturing corporation, originally established during World War I as the Warnemünde factory of the Flugzeugbau Friedrichshafen. Rendered defunct after the Treaty of Versailles, its assets were used to re-establish the company in 1921, which eventually grew to be one of the more prominent suppliers of warplanes to Nazi Germany (albeit reprivatized by the state after its original owner refused to join the NSDAP). Arado was liquidated after 1945, but was responsible for several advancements, including the creation of the first operational jet bomber, the Arado Ar 234 Blitz. ==Aircraft== * Ar 66C recon plane * Ar 196 A-3 recon plane and its artillery observer variant * Ar 234 B-2 jet bomber with 1500 kg of bombs and 1000 kg of bombs
