6th SA Armoured is an Allied A-rated Armored division in Steel Division II, available in the Tribute to the Liberation of Italy pack. The 6th South African Armoured Division was one of the largest Allied divisions of its kind. Built by merging several decimated or incomplete formations, it fought in Italy from 1944 onwards where it took part in the liberation of Rome and the battle of Treviso.
A mix of various troops can be found within this battlegroup, including British Guards infantry, South African soldiers, and many more. Largely equipped with American vehicles, unusually so, the division also fields variants of British origins, including Firefly and Sherman 76mm tanks, 105mm support guns, Greyhound and Staghounds. It fields heavy artillery, 114mm and 140mm, as well as 94mm dual-purpose AA guns, while its detachment of Wolverines is able to perform indirect fire.
The 6th South African Armoured Division is a well-rounded battlegroup with access to a host of hard-hitting units and equipment.
