29-ya Tankovy Korpus

29-ya Tankovy Korpus is a Soviet Armored A-grade division in Steel Division II. Organized as a standard tank corps, the 29th didn’t enjoy such a lavish rehaul as 2nd Guards did.

Although its tank battalions had transitioned to the T-34/85 by the time Bagration was launched, it retains more older or lend-lease vehicles, such as Valentines recon tanks. Yet, 29th TC has some specificities of its own, several of them being lend-leased: it fields half the total of M10 Wolverine delivered to the USSR in place of SU-76 and may count on some A-20 Boston & P-39 Airacobra air support. But not all, especially not the best, of its toys are coming from the West since it gets some of the few already available IS-2 attached to it.

Although with the same weakness in AA defence, structural to Soviet tank corps, than the above, and with a bit less artillery and armor punch, 29th TC is much stronger in AT, recon and ground support planes, making it more versatile.
